INSIGHT: Entrepreneurial students are looking for side hustle opportunities
Kicking off with a tactical summer hustler campaign, a team of 65 entrepreneurial students worked throughout the summer, using their extensive networks to help drive sign ups to the service. This activity was supported during the first few weeks of term by the combined efforts of 30 well-connected + influential student brand ambassadors and a BT tour that spanned 15 days and 9 campus’.
The BT Student Brand Ambassadors undertook a plethora of activities which included acting as micro-influencers to help spread awareness of BT’s new student broadband proposition; generating further sign ups after the BT Summer Hustlers hard work; and gifting students’ information packed but tasty giveaways to help grow brand affinity for BT.
The BT live tour acted as a sales and information hub on campus and drew students in with the challenge of beating BT at the ‘ultimate game of speed’ and the promise of delicious BT goodies.
